Prairie Ceramics manufactures slip cast alumina parts in a variety of Alumina content. The most common is 99.8% Alumina gas tight with density of 3.91 g/cc.

In addition to 99.8% Alumina we also make:

98% Alumina      95% Alumina   91% Alumina.    85% Alumina

Our capabilities include very large shapes including crucibles 13.5″ diameter x 6″ tall. We can make wall thicknesses from 0.125″ to 0.315″.

These are primarily used in firing and calcining operations where density and high purity are required.
